Life is just a female dog with rabies and fleas. With all the money in Africa, pop star Davido still goes through normal every day ish that we regular Joes go through. Davido's relationship with his girlfriend Funmi Aboderin was all good a couple of weeks ago. They were all touchy touchy and holding hands in a recent picture (above). 

Well it seems that the relationship has hit the rocks. Davido has just tweeted that he single. The tweet didn't stop there as Davido went on a mini-rant concerning his now ex-girlfrend. Check his tweets below;

CENTRAL NEWS| D'BANJ, BURNA BOY, PHYNO SHUT DOWN PORT-HARCOURT FOR HENNESSY ARTISTRY

Nigeria’s Oil City, Port Harcourt witnessed one of the biggest parties of the year last weekend as the Hennessy Artistry 2013 club tour stormed the garden city with some of Nigeria’s biggest superstars.

Hosted by popular on air personality Olisa Adibua, the event held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Lamborghini club in GRA, Port Harcourt and saw guests from different parts of the country come to witness the ultimate Hennessy experience.

With energetic performances from fast rising acts: Pucado and Phyno, the event kicked off on a high note and fans sure got in the party mood.

Dbanj brought the house down with pulsating performances also thrilling guests in attendance with his first live performance of this year’s Artistry theme song.

Port Harcourt’s biggest artiste, Burna Boy was also in town to party with Dbanj and fans present.

Dbanj will make his second club appearance in Lagos later in September. The next stop for the Hennessy Artistry club tour this weekend is Club DV8 in Victoria Island, Lagos and will feature performances from Phyno, Kay Switch and Chidinma.

The Hennessy Artistry 2013 club tour supporting acts include Olamide, Chidinma, Vector, Pucado, Phyno, Seyi Shay, Show Dem Camp, Kay Switch and Sean Tizzle.

Peter who is in Toronto for the P Square North American tour, posted pictures of him and his mans dem enjoying life at an unnamed strip club. Peter Okoye didn't take part in any of the lap dances (well according to pictures he put up) but showed us an unidentified man enjoying the full services of a stripper and another stripper showing her dance pole skills. It's nothing, there's level to this ish boy!

Wizkid is still tweaking and fine tuning his sophomore album which is the most anticipated LP in the country. Yesterday the pop star posted pictures of him in the studio with the legendary Daddy Showkey alongside producer Dokta Frabz. Last week Wizkid made it public that he wanted to work with Daddy Showkey on his album. It seems that Wizzy has gotten his wish. 

Wizkid's sophomore was scheduled to be released on June 12 but the album has been pushed back several times by Wizkid who is working tirelessly to ensure his album is a certified classic. From the mid 90's to the early 00's 

Daddy Showkey was the godfather of the 'Galala' sound which ruled the airwaves in the 90's. The 'Galala' sound seems to be back with Burna Boy releasing 'Yawa Dey' a song that is heavy with 'Galala' influence. On Davido's fast moving single 'Skelewu' he mentions 'Galala'.

Port Harcourt witnessed its greatest club party ever on Friday, July 26th, with the debut of Club Ultimate, the latest innovation from Nigeria's leading beer brand, Gulder.

Thousands of young Nigerians trooped to the Aztech Acrium to experience the ultimate club event, hosted by Channel O VJ Denrele Edun.

Guests included actress Beverly Naya, singers Tunde Ednut, Frank D Nero, Mr 2kay, and DJ Zeez, comedians Tee A, Daniel D'Humorous and Yibo Koko, broadcasters Anita Isedeh, Lonknan Dombin and Steve Onu, as well as filmmaker Kunle Afolayan.

Gulder Club Ultimate also featured riveting performances from DJ Humility, DJ Kelvin, Zeeto and Nike Peller and US-based Aerial dancers.

The Port Harcourt event is the first in a Series of unusual club events designed by Gulder as part of the brand's ways of creating unique platforms for fans and consumers to engage and enjoy themselves.

It's raining cheese in Iyanya's house. A few months after grabbing an endorsement deal with MTN, the pop singer has just sealed a deal making him the Youth Brand Ambassador of Zinox Group. The deal is worth $350, 000 which translates to N56m in Nigerian currency. Iyanya's songs and videos will be uploaded to all Zinox computers. He will also come up with a song for the company and appear on their publicity materials.

N.Paul as a stage name is just the first letter of Nwogu (N. Paul’s Surname) added to Paul. Born over  two decades ago to Mr. and Mrs. Philip Nwogu.  His love of music took root early in his life,  when his father – who was a skilled guitarist – noticed that Paul could carry a tune,  he groomed him and trained him to become a soloist and watched him become a band leader.  

From those early beginnings N. Paul developed his musical talent and improved his skills. He was a part of the Ten-Member Acapella  group called Joint Heirs which performed in one of the Churches in Lagos some time ago. He was a Praise Leader in his fellowship during his undergraduate years in Enugu; he held the position of State Music Director (Niger State) of the NCCF during his compulsory NYSC Service year;  he’s currently coordinating the Youth Choir in his home Church in Lagos. N.paul recorded his first piece “Psalms” 2003 and has continued to write and record good music until the eventual release of this first single “JEHOVAH DEY”. 

He has performed with other gospel artistes like Soji Israel, Lara George, Wole Oni, Midnight Crew, Tosin Martins and a host of others.  The song “JEHOVAH DEY” was inspired by the Artistes love for God and his awesomeness towards him, being there for him throughout his struggles and never leaving him.

Emilius Central Pop News | 2 Chainz And 10 Others Arrested By Oklahoma City Police

Rapper 2 Chainz and his entourage were stopped by
Oklahoma City police late Wednesday night at
Interstate 40 and S Meridian Avenue during a
traffic stop.
It is said that there was evidence of illegal drugs,
 and when the bus was pulled over the driver of
the bus got out and locked the door, not allowing
law officers to board the bus. The bus was then
towed with people onboard to the police station,
 where it then was searched.
2 Chainz along with 10 others were sent to
Oklahoma County Jail on state misdemeanor
 complaints of obstruction.

Emilius Central Pop News | Bola Tinubu recuperates after knee surgery in the US

Former Governor of Lagos State and leading founder of the All 

Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been

 absent from public engagements in the past few weeks. 

He sent out a statement in early August explaining that he

 would be traveling out of the country for knee surgery.

"Based on a previous sports injury on one of his knees 

and recent further aggravation on the knee from rigorous 

political and family related activities, he has been 

advised by his doctors, despite his persistent 

reluctance, that orthopedic surgery is necessary at this time. 

 The week of the 5th of August has been slated for the

 surgery. Governor Tinubu is expected to resume his

 normal political activities and public engagements 

following clearance from his doctors." The statement read

Tinubu has since had the surgery in a hospital in the US 

and is said to be recuperating.

Shocking photos have been released showing the aftermath of the deadly chemical weapons unleashed on Damascus suburb, Ain Tarma, where 1,300 innocent Syrians were gassed in their beds

The attack yesterday have left the streets deserted and makeshift morgues piled high with bodies of innocent women, men and children while those who survived the attack are fighting for their lives in makeshift hospitals. The attackers used rockets to release fatal fumes over the suburb in the early hours of yesterday morning as people slept in their homes.

The Syrian president has denied being behind the attack as protests against it erupted in other parts of the world. What I don't understand is why the rest of the world is folding its hands while thousands of innocent people are being slaughtered in Syria. See more photos after the cut...
