Hip TV presenter Daala who doubles as a model, looks all golden and mysterious in a new set of pictures. Tagged 'The African Golden Child'. These pictures were taken by Paul Ukonu who illustrates the luxurious self-indulgence of Africa.
Paul Ukonu is the chief photographer at Paul Ukonu Photography. The Law graduate has worked with diverse individuals in the entertainment industry, as well as companies that promote beauty and fashion. In his new project, the talented artiste draws attention to a societal-malaise common on the African continent.
In Paul’s words, “Africa needs no encouragement in indulging our opulent gene. We are a nation rich in culture, style, craft and resources. Bold in our beliefs and tradition. What better way to illustrate our outrageous fortune than to dial up the 24-karat art. Decadent pieces, contemporary jewellery fused with traditional motifs.”
Daala is a presenter on Hip TV. She presents an interview show called 'Street Hop'- an TV version of Smooth Promotions online radio- Street Hop. She was also the co-host of the Black Carpet at the 2013 Headies.
